Aging in Place -

Love your home but need better accessibility???
Aging in place remodeling has been widely recognized by the AARP. Studies show that most people prefer to stay in their homes as they grow older. Examples of aging in place remodeling can include converting a bathtub into an easily accessible walk-in shower, adding grab bars, installing lever style doorknobs, taller toilets, taller vanities, and ramps to doorway areas.

Many homeowners have chosen to make their home safer, more comfortable and user friendly. Todd Crockett of Crockett Construction Inc. has recently completed the Universal Remodeling education program presented by the National Association of The Remodeling Industry (NARI). Crockett Construction Inc. can provide homeowners with an environmental assessment survey. The information will be used as a guideline to identify accessibility problems and create solutions to make tasks easier and support independent living.
